Dr. Gale Gorke, founder of Kids Kan, Inc., is coming back to Arizona for another engaging workshop series! Dr. Gorke has served as a District Coordinator for afterschool programs in California, has over 25 years of teaching at both the elementary and secondary levels, and has a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with focus on academic intervention. Dr. Gorke was the Keynote Speaker at the 2011 Arizona Statewide Afterschool Conference and has facilitated numerous inspiring workshops with AzCASE!

Participants will engage in a dialogue about what makes a high-energy summer program and learn strategies to maintain enthusiasm among staff and youth all summer long.
