’07 Arizona Center for Afterschool Excellence Will Address the State’s Growing Need for Quality Afterschool Programs, Advocacy

Regional, Statewide, and National Conferences
To enable each of the regional coalitions in the state to offer an annual conference or training workshop for school-age practitioners, the Arizona Center for Afterschool Excellence makes annual mini-grants to the regional coalitions. In addition, regions hold regular networking meetings, at which a brief training on a relevant topic may be offered.

Experienced presenters offer afterschool professionals—both managers and line staff—with a range of professional development workshops and motivational presentations at the statewide school-age conference, offering something for the new employee as well as the seasoned professional.

Members of the Arizona Center for Afterschool Excellence receive discounts on conference registration for regional conferences as well as the statewide conference and the annual National AfterSchool Association conference.
