The Center for After School Education
Working with afterschool leaders, educators, directors and organizations, the Center helps build the high quality programs all children deserve. Field-wide, we provide technical assistance for sustainable system-building to make effective, accessible, high quality programming the norm across the country.

Child Care Bureau
A division of the US Department of Health and Human Services, the Child Care Bureau, Office of Family Assistance, supports low-income working families through child care financial assistance and promotes children's learning by improving the quality of early care and education and afterschool programs.

This bipartisan organization seeks to make children and education priority in federal planning and spending through research and advocacy. Their work includes a comprehensive guide to all federal spending on children, a must see for any advocate.

FindYouthInfo.gov is the U.S. government Web site that helps you create, maintain, and strengthen effective youth programs. Included are youth facts, funding information, and tools to help you assess community assets, generate maps of local and federal resources, search for evidence-based youth programs, and keep up-to-date on the latest, youth-related news.
 
The Forum for Youth Investment
The Forum for Youth Investment is a nonprofit, nonpartisan "action tank" dedicated to helping communities and the nation make sure all young people are Ready by 21®: ready for college, work and life. Informed by rigorous research and practical experience, the Forum forges innovative ideas, strategies and partners to strengthen solutions for young people and those who care about them. A trusted resource for policy makers, advocates, researchers and program professionals, the Forum provides youth and adult leaders with the information, connections and tools they need to create greater opportunities and outcomes for young people.
 
Learning Point Associates
This organization provides afterschool providers, teachers, and legislators with the information and strategies to improve learning in America. They work with clients to design, implement and sustain programs that make the most of a student's time.   Additionally, they offer advice on building the infrastructure at the national, state and local level that supports successful afterschool programming.
 
Lumina
The Lumina Foundation is a private organization that seeks to increase college enrollment and graduation. Though identifying and supporting effective practice, encouraging effective public policy, and using communications to build public will for change, they are expanding secondary education opportunities across the country.
 
National Childcare Information and Technical Assistance Center (NCCIC)
The NCCIC is a national clearinghouse and technical assistance center that provides research and statistical information regarding childcare issues and early childhood education, publishes the Child Care Bulletin, and answers questions regarding programs, licensing, funding and much more.
 
National Governors Association
The NGA is the collective voice of the nation's governors and one of Washington, D.C.'s, most respected public policy organizations. The NGA Center for Best Practices focuses on state innovations and best practices on issues including education and extra learning opportunities.
National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies
NACCRRA is the nation's leading voice for child care. Working with more than 700 state and local Child Care Resource and Referral agencies nationwide, these agencies help ensure that families in 99 percent of all populated ZIP codes in the United States have access to high-quality, affordable child care.
