Sonoran Alliance for Youth
Networking Meetings and Advocacy
The Sonoran Alliance for Youth (SAY) is one of seven regional coalitions that promotes the mission and activities of the Arizona Center for Afterschool Excellence, provides local-level training opportunities, advocates for school-age care issues, and coordinates networking opportunities for school-age care professionals so that they can share resources, ideas, and best practices. Funding for these networking meetings and trainings is provided by the Arizona Center for Afterschool Excellence through a grant from the Governor’s Office for Children, Youth and Families.
SAY partners with the Youth Development Coalition, founded by the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona, to advocate for quality out-of-school time programs in Pima County .
